4 of us drove down from Virginia for these two shows. Scored 5th row center seats for both nights at the door. don't even ask me how that's possible.

This show, the second night, was a monster. So much emotion, the boys hadn't played here since their bust 10 years earlier, and some of the locals were pissed, some came to mock the 'country mellow dead' and some came to bathe once again in the majesty of the music. Sandoz helped. The whole second set is electric. The Terrapin just explodes, Truckin' is power packed, Wharf Rat is gospel followed by soaring bombs, and then the wrap up, Sugar Mag into Good Lovin, left everyone spent. Brokedown encore, just exactly perfect. Memorable night, even 36 years later.
